Engaging in community service provides citizens with the opportunity to become active members of their community and has lasting positive impact on society at large community service or volunteerism enables particpants to acquire life skills and knowledge, as well as provide a service to thos who need it most.

ANGER MANAGEMENT


Our Anger Management Program has been designed to develop self-awareness and self-management through understanding and managing anger, underlying causes and emotions as well as applying coping skills, healthy behavior and correcting thinking.  Participants will learn about anger triggers, assertiveness, conflict resolution, problem solving, empathy and forgiveness.

(Court-mandated, DCFS, Probation/Parole
12, 16, 26, or 52 week classes)

PARENTING EDUCATION


Our Parenting Education Program provides a comprehensive, in-depth curriculum to multi-week classes for parents of young children, school age children, and teens.  Topics covered include effective communication, conflict resolution, dealing with challenging behavior, character development, positive discipline, and additional related topics.

8, 12, or 16 week classes)

FOOD DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM


Our food program is designated for low income and individuals experiencing homelessness

CUBS TO KINGS YOUTH MENTOR PROGRAM


CUBS TO KINGS is a 52-week youth mentoring program that encourages and supports academic achievement, character development, and strenthens awareness of moral significance of choices (ethical consciousness), enhancing the desire to do the right thing an improving the ability to foresee potential concequences, devise options, and implement positive choices.

PEER SUPPORT SERVICES


Our team of Certified Medical Peer Support Specialist provide peer support to individals enrolled in our services that promote and reinforce a recovery culture in which each participants point of view and preferences are recognized, understood, respected, and integrated into services and self-help programming.

COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKER PROGRAM
Our Community Health Worker Program is a comprehensive training initiative that equips individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to support and improve the health and well-being of communities.
